NHG Diagnostics Mobile Clinic
Brings basic health services to the heartland for women
Cervical Screen Singapore – National Cervical Cancer Screening Programme

Cervical cancer is the sixth most common cancer among Singaporean women. The incidence of cervical cancer increases rapidly after the age of 30, reaching a peak between the ages of 50 and 60.*

A Pap smear test helps to detect abnormal changes in the cervix early. Such abnormal changes may develop into cervical cancer if left untreated. Cervical cancer can be prevented if abnormal cell changes are detected and treated early.

Early detection helps save lives.

NHG Diagnostics aims to share with the public on the benefits of undergoing early and regular Pap smear tests.

Working with the National Pap Smear Programme - Cervical Screen Singapore ( CSS), NHG Diagnostics is launching the first CSS certified Mobile Clinic to provide Pap smear services at the institutions, offices, and community centres onsite.

‘By going mobile, it allows us to reach out to a larger community. The buses are fully equipped, truly accessible and serve the residents at an affordable rate’ said Ms Pamela Ding, GM, NHG Diagnostics.

Under the CSS programme, eligible Singaporeans and PRs who undergo the Pap smear service will receive subsidised screening - $15 for Singaporeans, $22.50 for PRs. The non subsidised rate is $40, exclusive of GST.
